Air Serbia Podgorica Airport Reviews
Great airline Jun 16, 2014
One-way flight ticket from Brussels to Podgorica (Montenegro) was booked with AirSerbia, not only for the convenience of travel, but also due to the fact that it is a partner of Etihad Airway. We wanted to find out the difference in service comparing to Ryanair since the price variance was not so great.
When booking with this airline you will receive, even in a cheapest package, a free 23kg check-in luggage, a free seat reservation and you will also be treated to a meal during your flight. Some people would argue that it is all so unnecessary during just over 2-hour flight, but in my opinion, even for a budget traveller, it is quite a pleasant variation from Ryanair-style flight. And you most assuredly feel the difference.
The service throughout the flight is very professional with pleasant cabin crew who cares about your comfort and makes you feel very welcome on board.
There is no chaise for the seats when you board since you can make your own selection without extra cost. So very relaxing.
3-course meal is served during the flight with a selection of 2 main dishes and free drink included (even an alcoholic one). No worries of being hungry even if you don’t have any more money to spend, or if you missed having a meal before boarding.
Coming back from a long trip we didn’t need to worry about our check-in luggage – it was included in our fear up to 23kg. Perfect for what we required.
One-way ticket was just over €100 (around €92 with Ryanair without a meal and a check-in luggage).
AirSerbia for certain gets my vote for a preferred airline, and it is definitely worthy of partnership with Etihad.
