Air Conditioned Lounge

A pretty cool bar in the middle of nowhere on Pico and 29th streets. (Or thereabouts) This is one of the riskiest investments I've ever seen.

First, the place is completely decked out in the most expensive decorations, fixtures and upholstery. The rent must be pretty expensive considering it's zip code indicates Santa Monica, and the place is so small that 50 people would literally have to squeeze to fit.

Second, the price for drinks is average, and there is no food. They do have a menu listing for "cheese" and "chocolates" at about $12, but people here are way too posh to order anything they would have to chew.

Third, and most surprisingly, they don't have a liquor license!!! They serve wines, beers, and flavored soju - how crazy is that?! This is a first for me, to see a beer and wine bar with this real estate and snazzy decor. And they don't even charge cover!

So my recommendation is to go and visit! Enjoy this pretty cool place before it shuts down or gets so overrun that they begin charging entrance fees! =)
