A true viking experience! Jul 12, 2014
Me and my friend discovered this place by simply passing in front of its entrance, where a guy of the staff - a viking looking guy, to be more specific :D - asked us if we wanted to eat or drink something viking. We accepted, then we entered and he soon asked our names before allowing us to go to sit. We thought it was just a formality for taking the order but instead, suddenly, he called the attention of the other clients and introduced us to them by screaming like a battle cry the following words: ‹‹Ladies and gentlemen please make a lot of noise for Francesco and Giuseppe!›› and then all people started to scream and clap their hands and stomp their feet. It was a totally unexpected and awesome welcome!
Then a waitress guided us to the seats she wanted us to sit to (probably just to mix the people a little bit and thus make the things more interesting).
After few minutes, we ordered and when the food arrived it was exquisite.
There were two guys playing some strange folk instruments that we had never seen before (which now I've found that should be called hurdy gurdy) and we really enjoyed their music.
The atmosphere was unbelievable, very dark and warm because of the candles (the only source of illumination available in the whole place!), and everything (the music, the clothes, the furniture) gave us the sensation to be in the ancient times, just like in the tv series Xena: Warrior Princess!
