Aichi-ken Seinen-kaikan Youth Hostel

The hostel is located in the southern parts of central Nagoya close to some restaurants and nightlife area. IT is about 25 minutes walk from the JR station and 10 minutes from the closest metro station. The rooms are Japanese style room with tatami mats and futon for sleeping on the floor. There is a Japanese style bath open in the evening - and not in the morning which frequently comes as a surprise to Europeans.

The general facilities are lacking a bit - there are no kitchen and only one computer for internet in the lobby (which did not work). There were no wi-fi but I did manage to catch some unsecured network and use it. The only thing which the hostel got in abundance is lots and lots of wending machines.

There are a lock out period during the day where you cannot be inside from 10 till 15 and there are an early 23 o’clock curfew which kinda prevents the concept of a late night on the town.
