You should get there at sun set, in order to walk through the "Valle dei Templi" with the best light effect. We stayed in the hotel "Akrabello", (www.akrabello.com ) 2-3 km from Agrigento, in Villaggio Mosè: one is glad not to have to drive around the city again...
