Agon Opera Hotel Berlin

At Valentine's day in 2006 we stayed in this lovely cheap and nice hotel for 2 nights. The hotel Agon Opera is situated directly on Berlin's most famous street: the Kurfürstendamm. You only need to step outside the hotel to start experiencing this bustling metropolis at first hand. The International Congress Center, exhibition complex, countless museums, and theaters, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and KaDeWe are all just minutes away. The extensive and fast public transportation system means that the Brandenburg Gate and the television tower at Alexanderplatz can be reached quickly.
The staff is very friendly. They help you with all your questions and they help you to arrange a guided city tour if you want.
The hotel was re-opened in oct 2003 following extensive restoration and renovation work. We had a unique view over the rooftops of Berlin when we eat of our generous breakfast buffet in the dining room. There is an access to the Internet throughout the hotel and also a free internet terminal in the entrance. There is also a hotel bar.
We had a great time here for a small price!! That's always nice!!
