Africa Cafe Travel Reviews

Sep 13, 2007
The Africa Cafe is a fun, energetic taste of Africa. The restaurant is staffed by employees from all different countries within Africa. The dishes served also represent several different varieties including Ndebele, Zulu and Xhosa. Your meal is served family style and it is basically a set menu...meaning you receive some of every item on the menu and you can order seconds of any item you especially enjoyed. The food quality is excellent and extremely varied.

The restaurant itself is in a 3 story building and is decorated with arts and crafts from local artisans. Several of the pieces are for sale in the gift shop on the main floor.

The best treat of all is at some point during your meal, all of the servers will perform local/traditional songs...it will give you goosebumps and leave you begging for more.

Have FUN!!

Oh my god, your review brought such a smile to my face! I had one of the best meals I've ever eaten at the Africa Cafe. It was a highlight in Cape Town. I can't recommend it enough. Your review was excellent!

bramwan says: 95 Keerom is named after its address in the heart of Cape Town. In South African terms this is quite a pricey spot, but I have to say that the service, food and ambience make up for it. The food is Italian in style, but non-traditional. Lots of interesting variations on the Italian theme. A specia...
ashleynpearson says: This restaurant/bar is just outside of Cape Town in Clifton. La Med is literally backed up to the ocean so you can catch an awesome sunset while you sip on happy hour drinks! They have good food too, burgers, fish, salads, pizza, and more. There are tables outside and inside and usually gets packed ...
