Affinia Dumont Hotel New York Reviews

For a mid-range hotel, this is truly a highly exceptional hotel. The rooms are clean and comfy and HUGE by NY standards - we had a very affordable suite with 2 full beds and a queen sofa-bed pullout and a small kitchenette and lots of closet space. It fit 4 girls very comfortably. The service was very friendly and efficient; the gym (while small) had all the necessary equipment. There were several cafes, bars and markets nearby which was quite convenient. This hotel is perfect for a family with kids, for groups of friends - probably not the best for a romantic weekend. (tip for the men: if you want to impress your dates, try the plaza or peninsula :) .) I didn't try the spa so I can't comment on that.
