Aero Dogs

We were out shopping in Tulare the other day and got hungry. We decided to try one of the unique places in town we had not tried previously. This very unique place has been there for seven years and probably will be around for many more from the reputation and food it has as well as what it is made from, a 1951 T-29 Air Force navigation training plane!!

Yes, mainly Hot Dogs, or other fast sandwiches with fries and soft drinks. And you can either sit outside or in. The front interior is set up with wooden boxes that resemble C Rations and other supplies and the small tables make it a fun place to eat. There is also a party room built out behind the plane for groups of up to 20 or 30.

The food is a little different than we’d had previously. The Aero dog includes everything, mustard, pickle relish, onions, cheese and chili sauce unless you ask them not to put something on. What a combination! Nothing world shattering but good!! And their prices are pretty reasonable.

If for no other reason than saying you had lunch in a plane, this is one to stop and enjoy!
