Aerial Dance Festival Boulder Reviews

If you like performing, testing your physical limits, and learning new things especially revolving around the circus arts this 2 week festival is for you!
There are many different types of classes offered such as silks, lyra, ropes, trapeze, stilts, ect. I've been to the festival twice and enjoyed it even more the second time around. If you're experienced take both weeks! If it's your first time consider trying a 1 week class to see how it goes. It can be a big shock to your body. The instructors have always been great: patient, fun, and enthusiastic. They have knowledge for tricks as well as how to keep yourself safe when trying.
Aside from learning new things during classes you'll meet awesome people that are there for different reasons. One of my favorite things about the festival is that while it's a great place to learn a lot, it's not too serious. If you're in it just for the fun you won't be laughed at, scowled at, or made to feel like you're holding anyone back. There were woman of all ages in my lyra class, an 11 year old, a 40 old, and a 60 something!
Try this out, it's also a great thing for kids to do before going back to school. Not to mention Boulder is great for visiting.
The classes are REALLY affordable too, running between $80 and $150 or so for a whole week! Class sizes are also limited so you are promised one on one attention from your instructor(s).
