Adelaide City Attractions May 13, 2011
I grazed the greens of the city
I smelled the whiffs of the sweet taste of air
I ran through the freedom of many minds
My senses heightened in this haven
Adelaide also known as the city of churches by many went there. The city simply symmetrical may not wow those who keen on a bustling city life. Those historical and antique seekers would definitely find this city absolutely charming and delightful. The roads rarely congested making travelling within the city very easy. It’s simple yet intricate transportation system makes everywhere accessible for travellers.
Indulge a hearty breakfast of pancakes with bacon and eggs with freshly brewed coffee at the 24 hour joint, Pancake House. Than climb onto a relaxing boat ride along Torrens River and enjoy the scenic view of the city. Hop on to land again and enjoy a shopping spree along Rundle Mall and find exciting finds with good bargains. Devour a scrumptious Chicken Schnitzel at Piatto while enjoying the colourful fashionistas strutting down the street. I bet you, lunch will never be the same again.
Walk down further and you will find my all time favourite coffee house! Cibo ! The aromatic coffee greets you right at its door step. The perfect blend of the enchanted coffee beans with frothy hearty Australian milk, MAGICAL. Personally my favourite would be a cibocino. Hazelnut essence accentuates the taste of fresh coffee to increase your sipping pleasures. To complete your lazy afternoon, grab your book and take a walk in the botanical gardens. The green fresh grasses with the colourful flowers will definitely relax your tired mind and body.
As the evening skies creeps the horizon, book your tickets to your favourite show at Adelaide Festival Centre. Before the show, have a delicious dinner at Belgian Cafe and bar. With an array of Belgian delights and fantastic selection of imported Belgian and German beers, this dinner is NOT bound for disappointment. After your show and still up for more action, night life in Adelaide is always and surprisingly vibrant. Heaven recently re-established itself on Pultney Street, is the house of great entertainment. This club is a 2 storey church converted. There are different rooms to suit the music palates. Immense yourself in the music and let loose
