There is a small coffee house/market that has the BEST Ice Cream and Coffee on the island of Guidecca.

BEST PRICES for Dolce and Coffee and Wine to take home with you or enjoy right there. Grab a bottle of vino and walk straight ahead (back of the island away from Venice) to sit at the pier with the locals of Giudecca, beautiful views of the lagoon, watch boaters and enjoy looking at the other islands surrounding. Go back the way you came and watch the sunset over Venice.

Authentic and very local!! Owner speaks Italian but dont be shy to go in if you only speak your native tongue.

The local kids run in and give hugs and to the very nice, helpful owner of the market. Great place to cool off with Gelato. AC as well.
