A comfortable room in Killarney Apr 24, 2009
This B&B was one from a list that the local tourist information had with available rooms for a last minute stay.
The room is very clean and white, the bed was very comfortable. the bathroom was clad in white and blue, but what made it for me was the skylight in the ceiling which bought much-needed sunlight on a grey day. Breakfast was a fry-up, egg was over-cooked for me, but the mushrooms were fried with garlic and parsley. The best thing was the freshly made fruit salad, though the owner didn't make one the next day. The B&B is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Killarney, and 10 mins from the national park (which is convenient as I got soaked from the rain!) Oh and the owner isn't as friendly as some of the locals. |
