Honest Abe gets an A+ on his own tour Oct 25, 2011
There has been many places I have been to but this one was far awesome. The great descriptive events that you get to experience, will explain all those inquiring thoughts that ever came to your mind about President Lincoln. You will enjoy the audio tours, media display, come to life statues, photos, movies, 3D effect plays and projector displays right before your eyes. It reminded me of some 3D effects from Sea World or Disneyland.

When we arrived there were different options you could pay for at the register. The pricing was average for an day like that.

Member - free, Adult - $12, Child - $6 (5-15y), Child 4 & under - free, Senior - $9

Times: 9a-5p closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years *per their brochure*

There was a cafe area for families, and guest to eat and socialize. They even had a Subway fast-food too. Inside you weren't aloud food.

With the historic events that Pres. Lincoln experienced, you may find yourself wanting to take your time in every tour or movie you set your eyes on. This place is for all ages, and highly recommended for anyone receiving education at any level.

Unexpected entertainment at Lincoln's new Presidential Library Complex Jun 04, 2006
I'm not one to get mushy about Presidential Libraries, but this one is quite unusual. Actually, it is the Museum side of the complex that offers more-accessible entertainment for the average Joe (like me).

It is a huge building, filled with various high-tech, multimedia displays that trace the life and times of not just President Lincoln, but also the culture of his time.

But fear not, those of you who are allergic to history lessons! It is more like a Disneyland attraction - with visual performances and special effects such as 3D, holographic projections, animations and more. I was definitely impressed and entertained! (And yes, I was even educated!)

Definitely worth a visit.
