Aberdeen has a few nice historic districts with a number of buildings of historic and/or architectural interest. There are 3 districts and 14 individual locations in Aberdeen listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The main historic district is called the Aberdeen Historic Districts and includes over 60 buildings using the Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, and Italianate styles of architecture amongst others. The historic districts include commercial and residential areas. One of my favorite buildings was the Byzantine style United Methodist Church which was completed in 1904. The Capitol Theater is also rather pretty.
