Aberaeron is a Market town on the coast of Cardigan Bay in Wales. It is a lovely place with brightly coloured Georgian buildings. It is at the mouth of the river Aeron.--Aeron being a Welsh God of War. -- Plenty of cafes and pubs, i had a tasty coffee and Welsh Cake in one of the cafes.A Welsh cake ingredients include Flour, sugar, spice, butter, lard, currants, and egg.-- No trains now run to Aberaeron has it closed to passengers in 1951 and to freight in 1965.--Buses run northwards to Aberystwth hourly, and southwards also hourly to Cardigan, in Welsh Cardigan in is Aberteifi. Service T5.--- There is a small pretty harbour and a short sea wall promenade, in Aberaeron. On my visit in January 2018, everywhere seemed to be newly painted---Aberaeron is 23 miles to Cardigan and 16 miles to Aberystwth.
