Abbey Road Pub & Restaurant Virginia Beach Reviews
Feb 08, 2008
We finally got a FREE DAY. we have been non stop unpacking and running around doing errands. we wanted to drive down to the oceanfront to walk on the beach. however, it was cold but, we did it anyway.
we went to have lunch here. raquel(moonvera) did a review on it. i wanted to check it out.
as we entered, the stage was between the door and the bar. the walls are filled with beatles memorabilia. the funny thing that the pub has an irish theme as well :)
we sat ourselves near the 100 gallon salt water fish tank. i love fishes and use to have an 80 gallon salt water tank. the pub is surrounded with flat screen TVs. i would love to come back to watch sports here. the bar has large selections of beer from around the world.
i ordered the 6oz. prime rib sandwich with au jus. THIS WAS YUMMY. IT HITS THE SPOT. IT JUST NEEDED MORE BUTTER LETTUCE.
my bf ordered 14 pieces of buffalo wings and lobster bisque. HE ENJOYED THE LOBSTER BISQUE. HOWEVER, I COULD NOT TASTE IT. STRANGELY THERE WAS SHRIMP. THE WINGS WERE OK.
i would like to come back when it's warm. this would be a fun place to watch sports. i would also like to try Calamari Rings, Crab Dip, and beer battered onion rings. the beach was quiet. we continued to walk on the oceanfront. we kept ourselves warm with a cafe mocha.
