Abbey of Stavelot Oct 09, 2011
We payed 17 euros. I wouldn't spend them again....

One good thing, the abbey-cafe. We had some great waffles and apple pie there. It's open from 10.00-18.00

They abbey is not a whole lot more then some ruins. They are part of the 159 peaces of heritage of Wallonia. The part of the ruin that still stands was under construction so we only saw it true a Vance.

The museum wasn't al that as it was al in French. There was the option of an audio tour but we only noticed that at the end of our museum-tour. Besides the fact that we didn't understand a whole lot it was also a bit confusing as theme's didn't seem to get along. But maybe that was just because we didn't get the French signs ...

There is a tourist information centre in the museum. It's also the place where you can purchase he tickets for the abbey.
