Beautiful Place to Stay Oct 30, 2013
The Abbasi Hotel is one of the best experiences to have while staying in Esfahan. The hotel is beautifully decorated. It is certainly as well decorated as some of the places we have visited in Teheran. This hotel is not just a good place to sleep but an experience in itself. The dining rooms are all decorated in period style. Paintings, painted tiles and cut mirrors decorate most walls. There are also plenty of shops within the hotel and a short distance away. Each meal at the hotel was excellent. There is even a very inexpensive restaurant on the roof which serves western cuisine like hamburgers, french fries, milk shakes, etc. Hotel is clean and the included breakfast was excellent with various European, American and Iranian staples. Friendly staff who speak English well are available.

where Elizabeth Taylor stayed! Aug 08, 2011
I used to live in esfahan for many years and this hotel was one of the few places that we used to reserve for our vip guests. the architecture is totally brilliant and that's no surprise cause it's the oldest hotel in the world with nearly 300 yrs background. it also has a very gorgeous yard where there are restaurants and traditional coffee shops.

This is a hotel to dazzle the eye. A magnificently restored 17th century caravanserai, set around a most beautiful garden. There ia a large restaurant,a 24 hour coffeeshop and a delightful teahouse in the garden. Prices in the usual array of hotel shops are good, the service was charming and I would certainly recommend you spoil yourself and stay here when you visit Esfahan.

The foyers and restaurant are exquisitely decorated with frescoes and delicately traced patterns in a style beloved of Iranians. The standard rooms are large and comfortable, if a little gloomy, and there are lovely suites furnished in traditional style with rugs and low floor cushions in the salon as well as in more conventional Western style.
