ABUELO'S Chesapeake Reviews
Upscale Mexican food served by gringos Jul 11, 2009
What a delightful place to have a great lunch! Dinner menu is a bit pricy! Wonderful ambience, live trees and plants everywhere, paintings and sculptures.
The signature side dishes consisted of papas con chile, charro beans, espinaca casserole and of course mexican rice and refried beans.
Great seafood selection!
I will say the sangria was absolutely delicious, not quite as delicious as what I had in Ecuador a couple years ago, but it was refreshing and sweet on my tongue!
David and I both chose the quesadilla al horno which allows to select from either, steak, chicken, or spinach. One of our amiga's chose the durango burrito and the other the grande burrito, either way both burrito dishes were big enough for two people to share! The salsa and chips is unlimited, but, it is a plain tomato salsa with not the signature jump kick that Mi Casita or Jessy's has! Great lunch and great day to spend with friends!
