A new airline: CityJet Reviews

Jun 18, 2007
I haven't tried this personally yet, but my parents are raving about it. CityJet is a new venture by Air France (therefore not your ordinary discount airline). It flies from London, England to Nice, France, at the same cost as EasyJet, but here's the catch: it flies to City Airport, in the center of Canary Warf. For those of you familiar with Easyjet, you know they fly to Gatwick, Luton and Stanton, and then you have to take a min 10pound trip into the city. City Airport is on the DLR line, so it's a regular metro ticket to the London center and you get there in no time flat.

The other bonus is that it's a tiny airport with no lineups and they've made checking in even simpler than with EasyJet, you can arrive up to 10 minutes before takeoff.

(Don't get me wrong, I love EasyJet, mostly because they've always arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule. But since I'm always headed for Canary Warf anyway, this seems soooo simple, it's the way I'm going next time I head for London.)
