A hot shower and a quick nap

While we were waiting for our plane to take us to Rwanda we had a four hour lay-over. It was 2am in the morning and we decided it would not be beneficial for us to leave the airport. Upon looking up and down the halls of the Nairobi airport we found a small staircase which led down to a white hallway. At first we thought we were lost, but upon traveling down the hallway for a bit we found a small side-room with windows and two relatively large doors. Inside was a small airport hotel where you could purchase an hour or two nap along with a shower for the cheap price of $20. The nap was good, and the shower was great! This piece of knowledge helped especially when Air India blew out a tire on the runway and our flight was held over 'til 8am. We got a full night sleep in before finally getting on our plane.
