A facility for First Class Euro Rail Pass Holders Reviews
A must for First class Euro Rail Pass Travelers in Spain May 05, 2010
We booked our first train of Global RailEurope Pass at 1500 hrs to Barcelona from Seville and took the bus in a rush from hostel to central station, Seville. Even we reached the stationat 1450 hrs but when we got the ticket (around 49 Euro for two) we realized that it was not for the train we wanted to board at 1500 hrs but for the train at 1600 hrs, so all our efforts to reach early were wasted. But it turned out to be a happy note, as we were guided to Sala Club because we had a first class ticket.
Sala Club is an exclusive lounge for first class traveler and we had one and a half hour to wait. Once we entered the Sala club there came a smile on our faces, as it was a beautifully decorated area. And we were surrounded some decent and well dressed people in their designers outfits but it was not the reason for my smile at least. It was a smile that came after realizing all the beverages and the eatable placed in the lounge are complimentary and we had almost 1 hr at our disposal. What all I can say is that we had a good free lunch..lolz...
it was extremely comfortable lounge and everything was spick and span. Even the washroom inside the club gave an impression as nobody ever went there. only one thing was missing a free internet WiFi connection. though there were some service but all were paid facilities. the place was full of latest magazines and news papers and even a no disturbance region were people were expected to be quite in that room.
Overall it was quite executive place to spend the waiting time of train and every body should experience it if you happen to buy a first class ticket or rail pass
