Rio de Janeiro is more than just party 24/7, which is true. I loved the combination of the exuberant green mountains with surreal shapes, and the city and architecture playing with this spectacular topography. You will be surprised to see also a lot of magnificent old building in the city, left from being capital of Brazil for 200 years.

Taking a bus from Rio, you cross a bridge and get to Niteroi, a nice small town with more beaches to enjoy. There, The Niteroi contemporary Art museum, a beautiful spaceship landed after architect Oscar Niemeyer probably had a futuristic dream about a building inspired by brazilian women and Rio de Janeiro’s sensual landscape. For sure this museum, and the view of Rio mountains, Corcovado and Pao de Azucar, from the unique inside space, was unforgettable.

There is a reason to be World Famous. Cariocas are beautiful, the city is beautiful and everything happens at Samba rythm!!
