Affordable hostel with some extras. Jan 20, 2012
I've been to Plus Hostel in Prague. It was worth to stay there. After whole day of walking in Prague we took a rest in sauna and swimming pool which is inside. Staff is really helpful and they can advise you what to see and how to get there. In hostel lobby there is wifi network so you can easily use internet on your device. Also you can use hostel PC for a use.

To be honest I have to say that I wasn't satisfied with food which I bought in hostel canteen.

Its a saturday and this place is empty!

I am in a 10 bed dorm and their is 2 of us in their...The other guy in their keeps waking me up gah!

The place is clean but has dodgy open style showers. They have a good breakfast atleast and its included in the price.

I choose the plce cause its right next to the Florenc bus station and only £8 a night

Great Great Great Nov 24, 2008
Okay so the Plus Prague Hostel is slightly out of the way of everything but who cares? This is a great little hostel which is very good value for money and needs to be bragged about.

The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. All the staff speak different lanuages which is great. I believe there are French, English, German, Chinese, Czech and Spainish speaking staff here so its great for most travellers.

The bedrooms are very spacious and extremly clean with a shower in the room and toliet seperate, so no waiting!

If your a women you will be given a free pamper kit when you arrive, and everyone gets a free map.

There is also a swimming pool here, not that you will have time to use it!

Overall, its a top hostel!

perfect if you arrive by bus Oct 15, 2008
A+ hostel is very close to the bus station (which was my main reason for choosing it), and within easy walking distance of the historic centre.

I stayed in a large dorm with showers and toilets in the hall, which was fine. There were some noisy school group staying there as well, but they put those on a different floor from the individual travellers, so it was quite all right.

There is a cosy bar/restaurant/games room in the basement.

The one thing that bothered me somewhat is that the door locked automatically whenever you closed it, so you had to always remember to take your keycard with you when you went to the bathroom, or hope someone else was in the room to let you back in.

Despite its corny name, this is actually a decent hostel to stay in.

The rooms were clean and secure and the staff is pretty friendly.

Internet access is cheap and they don't seem to strictly enforce any

time limits on computer use. Unfortunately, there is only one computer.

The showers in the restrooms are all combined into one, giant room,

with no curtains or stalls separating the different showers - not much

privacy! Another drawback is that it is about a 10-15 minute walk from

old town. Overall though, it is a decent, cheap place to stay (unless

you mass annihilate your hotel room, see pic.).
A sign by reception. I wonder what…
