A fantastic hostel. We visited Lithuania in December 2006 when the Baltic cold had definitely descended but this hostel was a joy to return to after a hard day's sightseeing! Warm, inviting, friendly, clean. You have to walk through the first dorm to get to the second but as it was very quiet when we were there this was never any problem whatsoever. We paid just under 40 euros for five nights there. Safety deposit boxes are available, showers are always hot, there is a nice little kitchen and communal area downstairs and the whole place just has a lovely cosy feeling to it. Highly recommended.

Si had the map again) and we were at the Old Town hostel, the cosiest of the hostels so far, 5 minutes walk from the centre of the Old Town. the kitchen was downstairs and before long we were meeting with other travellers exchanging stories and drinking. A double at our hostel (although really it's a student dorms most of the time) is just 18 euro! Good for the budget after a bit of a blow out in Russia. Why are we bothering camping!??!!
Have really been enjoying the baltic states in general. The "off-piste… Boys needs a masseuse in Vilnius. |

the hostel im in is very close to the old town, and in the other direction, the train and bus station, which is very convenient, and its not a bad place to stay either. dont seem to have really met any people here, but thats fine… on the up again... |

I met a few cool guys from Italy from my hostel, Matteo and Adreas, and they invited me to come along for a few drinks. I had an early flight to Copenhagen in the morning so I didn't want to do anything really, but decided to join my new friends for a few drinks… All I wanted was a few drinks, undercover Lithuanian agents get involved... |
