Relaxing and Unique Aug 21, 2010
I had a wonderful stay at this resort. Loved the privacy. Also, the food was delicious at the restaurant.

The cabin was practically perched over the water. Being able to watch the sunset without anything blocking my view was priceless.

It took quite a while to get there from the airport. There isn't much around there to do besides enjoy the beach.

Also, make sure if you order room service- dispose the food outside your cabin or else there will be a serious bug problem.

9 Beaches Resort Bermuda Overview

9 Beaches is Bermuda's newest and most casual resort, occupying 18 acres, alongside clear, blue waters. Located at the western most tip on a peninsular of Bermuda; it?s the closest resort on the island to the United States. 9 Beaches celebrated its opening on 29 April, 2005.True to its name, the Resort sprawls over a long peninsula with numerous coves, limestone grottos and sandy beaches (9 at high tide!). Signal our roving private dining cart ?A la Carte?, to bring you food, drinks, ice, and other goodies. Relax on chaise lounges with an umbrella, picnic tables, benches and hammocks that are spread around the Resort. Our soft-sided Cabanas stand on stilts and all have a view of the Atlantic Ocean. Some Cabanas even perch over the sapphire sea and with a Plexiglas floor panel revealing tropical fish fluttering underfoot! All 84 cabanas have ample windows, louvered entrance doors and double glass French doors that open onto ocean-view verandas. They are also equipped with ceiling fans and stand up air-conditioning units. The world-renowned designer Lynn Wilson styled the interiors: her brilliance also shines at The Biltmore, The Taj Majal in India and Queen Elizabeth's Widlesham Moore Estate in Ascot, England. The sturdy structures have aluminum frames covered by sailcloth-like material, perfect for casual Bermudian living. Here you'll have 84 chic cabanas from which to choose. Spread over 18 private waterfront acres on the western-most tip of Bermuda. During the day the Resort's clear blue Bermuda waters make it perfect for every kind of water sports activity. And as day draws to a close, grab a cocktail and your "consort" and experience some of the most magnificent and memorable sunsets anywhere on earth. A truly relaxing tropical resort where you can really kick-back, throw off your shoes, and feel the sand between your toes.Aquatic options abound: Hobie Catamarans, sailboards, and sea kayaks. Bob aboard a floating lounge or relax on our aqua decks. Ripple the waves in a paddleboat or a jet ski. Snorkel or kayak to the wreck of the HMS Vixen, a small, 1860s twin-screwed ironclad that is just off the coast of one of the 9 beaches. More adventuresome guests can skim the surface on kite boards, following lessons from instructors certified by the International Kite Boarding Association, or go water-skiing, wakeboarding, even try windsurfing Experience a thrill ride on our unique tow-able ?Fly Fish? or ?Screamer?.
