868 Gourmet - Antipasti Pranzo Cafe Perth Reviews
Affordable Delicious Antipasti Cafe Apr 28, 2011
The café was quite crowded, and the taste of the meals justified it. It was located in East Victoria Park, along Albany Highway, pretty easy to spot. It was not too far from the parking lots behind IGA and The Cheesecake Shop. The price of the dish was average, with the perfect size of the serving. Sandwich ranges around 9-10 AUD, antipasti platter for one was around 12-13 AUD, and salad was around 10 AUD. We ordered 3 different meals and decided to share among us…
868 Special 3 meats, cheese, 3 extras, was basically a sandwich with 3 types of meat, cheese slides, and 3 selections of the available choices of mushroom, beetroot, dried tomato, chilli, fresh tomato slices, and some other salads. It was quite tasty with crispy bread roll.
Antipasti platters for one, consists of 3 type of meat, olives, cheese cubes, dried tomato and chilli, salted artichoke and mushroom, served with slices of bread with olive oil and vinegar. It was good and worth to try.
Frittata salad plate, frittata is egg-based dish, looks like pie or quiche, with some spinach and pumpkins. Salad was topped with feta cheese cubes, olives, tomato, and coming with a bottle of olive oil dressing. The frittata was soft, though not too salty, it was balanced with the feta cheese cubes.
Overall, the meal was good, and definitely I would return for other menu tasting… or just repeating the ones I’ve tried.
