7 Grand is a bar with pool tables... that's if you boil it down to the most basics.

If you want to find trend setting LA, step up to the bar at 7 Grand. This isn’t a place for dancing or beer drinking. This is a place where mixologist (a bartender specializing in the art of mixology) create the most tasty cocktails your lips will ever touch.

They do have beer on tap but 7 Grand is all about drinking distilled pleasures. Its one of the few places you can find rye whiskey and probably the only place you can have it mixed with absinth. You don’t have to know what you want to drink. Just ask the bartender for a flavor that you might be in the mood for – I want something with a strong citrus flavor – and let them give you what they want. You won’t be disappointed even if you are not prone to taking that kind of risk on a $10 drink.

Its all top shelf here and the prices reflect the good stuff ($8.50 for the least expensive drink on the cocktail menu). But aside from the top shelf liquor and top shelf mixologist, you get a beautiful bar accented by stag-head lamps, good music and the beautiful people of LA. I recommend stopping by when the after work crowd comes in around 6 or 7 pm. You don’t want to fight for attention at the bar when it gets three deep.
