Hi Trisha,
For 3 days in Kuala Lumpur: 1) Visit Twin Towers KL - You can get free daily pass ticket as early as 8.30 AM. Don't be surprise there will be many early birds queue for the free pass. Then you can go for KLCC Suria Shopping complex for SHOPPING!!! It's Carnival sales now!!! 2) You can go to Petaling Street, Chinatown for cheap stuff - alot of imitation and pirated CD/DVDs. There you can try the local food - Hokkieen Mee, Chicken Rice and deserts like "Lon Ngan Sui" and "Tau Foo Fa" Just walk around the street and you will encountered the food. 3) As mentioned for more shopping spree and since it's Carnival Sales, Go to Mid valley, Sungai Wang Plaza and 1 Utama !!! Shop till you drop. 4) For cultural experiences, you can visit to the mosque at Putrajaya, Hindu temple - Batu cave (limestone cave) and Chinese Temple - Thean Hou kung. You can see more from outside of KL. Such as Penang & Malacca for food. Terengannu - Redang / Perhentian for the beaches. Cheers & Hope you enjoy visiting Malaysia. |

we did a bit of jungle trekking, visited a tea plantation, swam in a freeeezing cold waterfall and generally relaxed for 3 days. very nice indeed!
It was then off to KL, very modern, very muslim but quite uncultured. there was only one rather disappointing museum so we spent most of our time in the mall. (hanging my head in shame now). But, we did go on the world… after staying in the relaxing atmosphere of the cameron islands, its time for the bustle of KL! |

So yeah, I was meeting Yanti whom I've met 3 days ago from the meet-up she organized in Singapore at downtown KL. I took the bus which the woman from the ticketing booth recommended because the bus driver will drop me off straight to the hotel. Good thing, I got there on time… Day 1 |
