This place cannot really be described as a hostel. Yes you share a room with other randoms to keep the costs down, their a communal kitchen and lounge area. But in terms of a receptionist or anyone around to keep an eye on you their isnt. They meet you a your designated time and maybe each morning but thats it. The rest fo the time your own your own....which is good in some ways, It feels more like my old flat back home than a hostel.

As soon as we walked off the ferry in Split, a woman came up and asked if we needed accomodation. Her english was good, and it was 100 kunas (about $20) each per night, so we went with her. The apartment was in a good location, very close to the fer…… First days in beautiful Croatia |

What have I done? I flew around the world to a country that most people have never even heard of........alone. I met these two college girls from Arizona on the plane over here. They were going on a sailing trip for a week and then up …… I am very alone and sad beyond words. |

Last night was our last night on the boat. We had to be off the boat by 9am and after a late night, it was really rough getting out of bed. The six of us were pretty exhausted and Kiwi ladies had a hostel so Linda, Monika and I went to a park…… Uneventful day until I was robbed in a park! |
