Good Food, Good Service, Nice Experience Jun 23, 2008
3 Margaritas is a chain restaurant, but unless you live in Colorado or Arizona you’ve probably never heard of them. They have about 15 locations in those two states. My fair city of Brighton, CO has had one for about a year.
The Brighton location is in a little strip mall anchored by the local King Soopers. As such the owners of the restaurant had to deal with an entire bank of windows as one wall of their establishment. This would be great if the view was of the beautiful Colorado Rockies. But as it overlooks the parking lot, a bank, and the local Applebee’s, I don’t consider it a real plus. That pretty much takes care of what I don’t like. 3 Margaritas is a professionally run restaurant with really good Mexican food. The service is great. The staff is prompt and attentive and the prices are reasonable. They always start you our with a complimentary chips and salsa. I have tried a variety of the items and while none stands head and shoulders above anything else, it is all good. I rate this as my 4th favorite Mexican Restaurant in Brighton. Their late arrival and that no food item sparks a craving prevents it from winning a medal. Part of the Brighton, Colorado--My Home Town travel blog |
