202 New York Reviews
Cozy and different Apr 04, 2010
The 202 is a great and comfortable place to enter and enjoy a relaxing breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. I was strolling round in Chelsea which is a laid back area of Manhattan: I had some of my best brunches in this area and I just wanted a laid back atmosphere to enjoy myself.
202 caught my eye being a combined shop and cafe; it was a mix between cozy clothing shop and a small trendy cafe. The girls serving were sweet and smiling like usual I could add. The place was less than half full when I entered and I am always taken by the number of employees in the places.
The food was as always humongous and I can never eat it all. I took a mushroom omelette on a toast and apple fried bacon as a side dish. The bacon was unfortunately dripping of fat: I would have preferred if they had dried them off before serving, it was just too much fat. The omelette and the mushroom were great and I was full for at least a couple of hours
