Satyricon " Rua Barao da Torre, 192 Ipenema
If you love seafood, then this is your place to eat. Satyricon is known as the IN place to see and be seen. By RIO standards it is not cheap, but it is fantastic. The fish carpacio $65 is enormous and easily feed 3-4 people. Six types of fish each marinated differently as well as 3 types of fish tartar. The salt crusted snapper $35 is amazing. It is the most tender and juicy fish ever eaten. Satyricon has all types of fish, lobsters, crab, and shellfish as well as meats for those who aren’t seafood lovers.
Meal without drinks will cost approx. $100 - 130
Porcao " Av. Infante dom Henrique
This is a churrascaria and a must do in RIO. Gauchos walk around with skewers and platters of meats and serve them to you until you pass out or say no more. Whichever comes first. The dinner is $30 not including drinks
Meats " rump, sirloin, filet, filet with cheese, flank, pork ribs, baby beef, ostrich, suckling pig, baby beef with lime, filet with garlic, pork roast, beef short ribs, salmon and more.
Salad bar " large spread of sushi/sashimi. Cold Salads, regional specialties, breads, and your regular salad fixings.
