1369 Coffeehouse Travel Reviews

Nov 05, 2006
1369 is a Cambridge institution--much like the rest of the city. But
really, the coffee here is much better than the ubiquitous Starbucks,
plus there is a much better selection of tea. You can usually catch
people chilling out there for an hour or two reading or using the free
wireless connection. The food is ok, but sparse, unless you're just in
the mood for a cookie or muffin. Coffee, if ordered in-house comes in a
ceramic mug and has reduced refills. My favorite part of the restaurant
is the non-corporate soundtrack and the excellent people-watching
opportunities. That and the coffee isn't burnt...I mean....dark-roasted.

Thanks for the great review! I love fresh java served in ceramic mugs... and fresh music.
