Much more pleasant and clean, though slightly pricier alternative to better-known Pension Bacolod (down the street at about 100 meters). Cost me around PhP210 for a single non-aircon room, which came with breakfast of coffee/tea and toast with jam or butter. I found that the higher the cost of the room(especially if it's an aircon room) the better the breakfast. The place was new when I was there, and most transients seemed to be sales reps. To while away the time, the B&B has a very girly selection of magazines you can take to you room. They even had Oprah's O Magazine. The location is great since you can just walk to ANP, the Capitol Building and Park, and the Negros Biodversity Center. It's even a shorter stroll to Piazza Sorrento, where you'll find coffeshops, restaurants, bars, an internet cafe and boutiques, reminiscent of Greenbelt in Makati.
